LatinaUC<\/strong> es dirigido por el <strong>Prof. Christian Oberli<\/strong> y tiene por misi\u00f3n ser un punto de encuentro para la formaci\u00f3n de capacidades profesionales avanzadas, investigaci\u00f3n de punta, y transferencia tecnol\u00f3gica en comunicaciones inal\u00e1mbricas y electr\u00f3nica.<\/p><p>Desde su inicio en 2010, el foco principal de LatinaUC ha sido la <strong>Internet de las Cosas<\/strong> (Internet of Things, IoT), \u00e1mbito en el cual se han desarrollado y probado nuevas tecnolog\u00edas de comunicaciones para redes inal\u00e1mbricas de sensores.<\/p><p>El trabajo en LatinaUC abarca desde la investigaci\u00f3n de <strong>modelos te\u00f3ricos<\/strong> de sistemas y procesos de comunicaciones inal\u00e1mbricas, al desarrollo y <strong>simulaci\u00f3n de protocolos y redes<\/strong> de comunicaciones, hasta la <strong>implementaci\u00f3n electr\u00f3nica de prototipos<\/strong> y sus ensayos en terreno.
